The fifth edition of Lanka Premier League 2024 is confirmed and as per reports, it will began on 1st July finals will be held on 21st July 2024. Sri Lanka Cricket board the organizers of the T20 league bring some of the best short format cricket players from all over the world top players like Alex Ross, Shadab Khan, Glenn Phillips, Andre Fletcher, Mujeeb Ur Rehman and Hazaratullah Zazai joined the teams in LPL 2024 season. Lanka Premier League prize money for the upcoming season also reported.

- The runner-up team in the Lanka Premier League 2024 will pocket $50k prize money share in the competition.
- Bowler with most wickets in the LPL season 2024 will earn share of $1.5k and batsman with most runs in the LPL 2024 will get $1.5k also.
- Each player who is awarded man of the match earn $2.5k and player of the tournament will receive maximum $5k share.
- Player with most catches in the LPL season will awarded with $1k prize fund and emerging talent of the tournament receive share of $2k.
