Aston Villa FC clubs wage bill reached £110 million based on players contracts extensions, signing fees and bonuses. The wage bill will spike to £122 million before May 2025 since there are more than five players who's contracts pending for renewal. The club also looking for more players in January transfer window 2025 which will impact wage bill in 2025.
Ollie Watkins is highest paid player in the Aston Villa team squad 2024-25, he is currently earning £8.4 million a year with club. After him Leon Bailey, Ian Maatsen, Amadou Onana, Boubacar Kamara and Pau Torres hold contracts deals worth more than £5 million a year.
