Kofi Balmer and Apostolos Stamatelopoulos joined the team of Motherwell F.C in 2024 on undisclosed transfer fees. Sam Nicholson signed new deal after leaving Colorado Rapids in June 2024 with Motherwell.
Apostolos Stamatelopoulos, Sam Nicholson, Kofi Balmer and Liam Gordon are among highest paid players in the squad. These players hold contracts worth more than £50k a year including bonuses. After new signings, Motherwell F.C wage bill increased £1.3 million for season 2024-25. The wage bill will reach to £1.6m after players extend their contract deals which are ending in May 2025.
